Genji is Akio Kurihara's special blend of spring harvested Saemidori and Ooiwase cultivars, shaded for a little over a week, and submitted to the Nihoncha Awards in 2024. Winning the top Platinum Award for the blended category, this is a delicate balance of vegetally sweet, umami, and astringent flavors.
